Rocky Ridge Refuge
Home of Lurch, the Watusi and Friends
“Maybe I can’t make a difference for All Animals, but I can make All the Difference for some of them.”
For the soul of every living thing is in the hand of God…
Job 12:10

Steve and Suki Self from CO come to visit Lurch and friends and make a donation.
Janice Wolf writes on her web site:
“Rocky Ridge Refuge is the result of a dream I’ve had since I was a small child; to share my life with animals, especially those needling special effort due to medical issues, or abuse and neglect.
Since settling in my present location, I’ve been working towards this animals “group home.” I now rescue and care for a variety of creatures, both exotic and the more common.

Keeping cool
I have been involved with animals all my life, from wildlife rescue and rehabilitation, to many years working as a Veterinary Technician, dog trainer and volunteer in many animal causes. I have studied and applied alternative therapies for many of my ill or injured animals with positive results.

The refuge is located about 15 minutes from the Resort.

Baby was pulled from traffic in front of resort.
Janice was willing to take in a wounded baby deer. He was covered in ticks, lost one eye and jaw was broken. Today he is a healthy young buck.

Now a healthy Yearling
